NT BIBLE
READING
PLAN

The Bible is the very Word of God, with the power to transform our lives into the image of Christ. We believe in the infallibility, inerrancy and sufficiency of the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15-16). God's Word revives our souls and makes us wise; it is more desirable than fine gold (Psalm 19:7-10). His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths (119:105).

SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION

There are four essential pieces to the Gospel presentation: God, man, Jesus Christ, and the sinner’s response. Each quarter, we’ll memorize key verses from each of these components. By the end of the year, we’ll have the Gospel presentation stored in our hearts. We’ll start with who God is.

GOD created and owns everything.

  • Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

  • Psalm 24:1 – The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.

GOD is perfectly holy.

  • 1 John 1:5 – This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

  • Matthew 5:48 – You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

GOD requires perfect obedience to His law.

  • James 2:10 – For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.
