We hope the following information will make it easier to know what to expect as you plan your visit to Harvest for one of our worship services.
Sundays at
Harvest
Service Times
We meet at 8:30 and 10:30AM each Sunday morning for two identical worship services.
We gather at various times and locations throughout the week for discipleship groups and classes.
Preaching
On a typical Sunday, we work through books of the Bible line by line, verse by verse, as we seek the true meaning of the text, according to the intent of the author. We use a literal, historical, grammatical interpretation of God's Word.
Children
Childcare and classes are provided for children ages 6 weeks through grade 4. For age 2-grade 4, we use curriculum from Grace Community Church.
Children 5th grade and older sit with the adults in the regular church service.
Leadership
We are an elder-led church. Our elders meet the Biblical requirements for eldership laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

We are located at the east end of Mifflinburg, along Route 45.

Singing
We sing together as part of our worship service each week. We select songs that are doctrinally sound, seeking to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth (John 4:2).
What We Teach
We preach that salvation is by grace through faith, not our own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
